Walk on the Wild Side

  • WEI’s Amador Hill Farm and Orchard 15715 River Road North Branch, MN (map)

Join Angela  for a day of plant medicine education  She’ll take everyone on an herb walk where she will highlight the medicinal plants growing at the Women’s Environmental Institute. She’ll discuss their medicinal qualities, botanical characteristics, what parts we use for medicine and strategies for general wellness.  You will receive instruction on how to make tinctures with the above-ground portions of plants.  After the tincture-making instructions, everyone will go out to make their own to take home.  Throughout the day, we will document the medicinal plants with photos to create a digital i.d. catalogue, which will be emailed to every student for future reference.
